PAYROLL – RETAIL SUPERVISOR RATES
What is a Supervisor Payment?
- It’s a supplement to top up the Sales Advisor’s rate of pay and is payable only for the hours that a Sales Advisor supervises a shift or part of a shift.
How do I process Supervisor Payments?
- Ensure you have followed the correct process for application and approval of the Supervisor role and the addition of Supervisor responsibility on the Job & Salary screen in Cascade
- Record the number of hours worked as a Supervisor in the ‘Supervisor Hours Earnings Quantity’ column on the timesheet template. These hours will be paid at the rate of £1 per hour.
- Basic Hours and Overtime should still be recorded in the usual way – do not reduce the number of basic or overtime hours on your timesheet, as supervisor hours are a supplement and not a replacement for their regular hourly rate of pay.
Example:
Joe Smith in Leicester works a total of 20 hours in Week 47. He was a Supervisor for 16 of these. He is contracted to work 14 hours per week:

| Total | 256.00 |
