Hi,
If you are in an eligible role, Bupa cover is not automatically provided - this is an opt in benefit.
You should have received the details with your onboarding documents but if you can't locate them, please fill in the form and send to the People Team by raising a helpdesk ticket with the completed form attached.
Bupa eligibility and cover level provided by the Company is based on your role level:
Role levels 3O, 3S, 4 & 4R
- The company will pay the premium for your single cover; this value is a taxable benefit-kind (BIK) and will be displayed on your payslip as a notional value (not paid) so that the tax due is collected via the tax on your payslip each month.
- You may enrol your family members - the cost for their cover will be deducted from your net pay, after tax.
- The cost for family members will be the premium for your chosen cover level as per the attached premium matrix, minus the single premium.
Role levels 5-7
- The company will pay the premium for single, couple or single parent cover if you are role level 5-7; this value is a taxable benefit-kind (BIK) and will be displayed on your payslip as a notional value (not paid) so that the tax due is collected via the tax on your payslip each month.
- If you select Family cover (yourself, partner and child/ren), the value of couples cover will be the BIK value and the difference between the couple premium and the family premium will be deducted from your net pay after tax.
For the policy year 1 November 2025 - 31 October 2026, please look up the premium for your chosen cover level on the attached premium matrix, based on your date of birth.
The policy renews every 1 November and premiums increase - you will be notified of premium increases on or before the first payday in which the premium increase is effective.
