Qualifying Auto-Enrolment Workplace Pension
- Assessment for eligibility/enrolment of new hires is deferred to the third month as standard
- Contributions are based on pensionable pay and are deducted on a gross tax basis (pre tax, post NIC)
- Salary sacrifice is available by election only, for employees who satisfy the NMW/NLW requirements (search pension change on the employee helpdesk for the form)
- Contributions are tiered by role level as follows:

Employee | 5% | 5% | 5% | 5% | 6% |
Employer | 3% | 4% | 5% | 5% | 6% |
